New Camera + Sample Pictures

I really like the motion blur in this picture.

I "field-tested" it on my trip to New York.

Iconic Times Square shots. Guess what I'm using for my new desktop image?

The macro on this camera is really nice.

The manual focus allowed for the bokeh effect you see here.

My small badge for my Show Choir trip.

The auto-focus didn't focus on the crepuscular rays in this one, but it still turned out pretty nicely.

I bought it out for some more night time shots.

The settings on auto are usually all I need.

Sunrise.

A hydro-field always makes for a nice backdrop.

Some of my friends have some cool pencil cases. This one's hand-drawn.

Dawn in the forest.

Mmmm.... fried sausages in the morning.

The sun streaming through the trees left some eye-catching shadows on the ground.

It's called the PowerShot SX130 IS.

It's a big improvement from my old point and shoot.

The 3" screen is a lot easier on my eyes than my previous cameras.

12x optical zoom, 12.1 megapixels, comes with manual aperture and shutter settings.

I know already that this is going to be my favourite camera for a while.
